Lake Biwa is a important water resource for big cities such as Kyoto and Osaka. Shiga Prefecture's sewage system treats more than 90% of the sewage generated in the Lake Biwa basin, contributing to the preservation of Lake Biwa's water
quality. In addition, to ensure a stable supply of tap water, we aim to create an environmentally friendly and disaster-resistant water supply system.

We will explain Japanese technology that is effective for continuing to supply water that is indispensable for people's lives.
➀Non-chemical water treatment system, 'CHEMILES' (treatable Fe,Mn,NH3-N,As)
 ②Underground water intake screen
③Stainless steel water pipe joint ,'TASCUL'

①②Technology that can use groundwater as a living water, etc
③Technology that can be easily connected to piping such as water supply and is resistant to earthquakes
