 – Postponement of the 4th Asia-Pacific Water Summit

The Asia-Pacific Water Forum and the City of Kumamoto have been jointly organizing the 4th Asia-Pacific Water Summit (4th APWS) scheduled on Monday, 19th and Tuesday, 20th October, 2020, at the Kumamoto Jo Hall in Kumamoto City, Japan.

Considering that the heads of state and government in the Asia-Pacific region are facing complex difficulties caused by the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, and following a great deal of discussion, it is with huge regret that we have come to the conclusion that it would be very difficult to hold the 4th APWS as scheduled. Hence, we are postponing the Summit for a year.

The new dates and further information of the 4th APWS will be announced after consultations with the relevant organizations.
