During the conference, many sessions discussed various themes related to water, and the JWF actively participated in some of them in order to understand the current situation, issues and challenges, and trend regarding water resources management and water cycle management.
The High-Level Summit was held for the first time at the IWA World Water Congress, where policy makers, experts, and practitioners gathered to discuss opportunities and actions in terms of finance, governance and technology to create smart and secure liveable cities for all in each country. After the presentations showed that aggravated water-related disasters due to climate change has caused enormous human and environmental damage in various parts of the world, speakers stated how important it is to solve water problems for the future. They also repeatedly emphasized that it is essential to build strong partnerships across countries and institutions.
