– Youth Water Forum Asia 2024: Report and Highlights
Japan Water Forum and Korea Water Forum jointly hosted the “Youth Water Forum Asia 2024”, an international exchange event focused on water, on Friday, November 15, 2024, as part of the Korea International Water Week (KIWW) held in Daegu, Republic of Korea. A total of 12 high school students — four each from Japan, Korea, and Indonesia — participated in the event. They presented and shared the challenges their regions face regarding water issues and the innovative solutions they are working on.
The event fostered diverse perspectives and facilitated the creation of new exchange networks that transcend regions and cultures. The Japan Water Forum plans to continue hosting such events moving forward to expand opportunities for youth engagement.

– Key Messages of APWF 14th Webinar
– 19th November 2024: World Toilet Day
On November 19, the Asia-Pacific Water Forum (APWF) hosted a webinar featuring Prof. Dr. Jack Sim, founder and director of the World Toilet Organization, a key figure in the establishment of World Toilet Day, and global advocate for improving sanitation, particularly in developing countries. In addition to his keynote presentation, the webinar included a panel discussion with experts and practitioners from ADB, Water.org, and LIXIL Sato, who shared their insights and recommendations.

– Youth Water Forum 2024: Submitted Videos to Be Released Starting in January, 2025!
We were delighted to receive many video submissions this year from individuals aged 15-18, including entries from overseas for the first time.
The submitted videos will be released starting in January 2025 on the Youth Water Forum official YouTube channel. More details will be shared on the Youth Water Forum website and social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram). We encourage you to subscribe to our channel and share the content with others.
