– Youth Water Forum 2024 Submission Videos Now Available on YouTube!
The Youth Water Forum 2024 call for video submissions began on June 3, 2024. We received a large number of entries from across Japan, and for the first time, submissions were also received from overseas. The 24 submitted videos explore water-related topics, ranging from daily life to global issues, all created from the unique perspectives of young people. They are now available on the Youth Water Forum YouTube channel.
The Youth Water Forum 2025 will return in June 2025. We look forward to your submissions!

– Towards Regional Solutions: Glacial Melt, Water Challenges, and Science Diplomacy in the Hindu Kush Himalaya
This webinar, held on March 21st, was organized as a follow-up to the official kick-off side event for the 2025 International Year of Glacier Preservation. The side event, co-hosted by the Asia-Pacific Water Forum (APWF) Secretariat and the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD), took place on January 21st, 2025.

The Japan Water Forum serves as a member of the Follow-Up Committee under the Basic Act on Water Cycle (FU Committee), a subordinate organization under the Japan Parliamentary League for Water System Reform (Water League). From February 28 to March 2, 2025, members of the Water League and the FU Committee had an opportunity to visit the Noto Peninsula.
