【JWF News Vol.159】　3rd APWS adopted “Yangon Declaration: The Pathway Forward”

The 3rd Asia-Pacific Water Summit concluded with the adaptation of the Yangon Declaration: The Pathway Forward.

The 3rd Asia-Pacific Water Summit (APWS) was held in Yangon, Myanmar on 11th-12th December 2017.
The Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the Asia-Pacific Water Forum (APWF) co-organized the 3rd APWS under the overarching theme, “Water Security for Sustainable Development”.
The 3rd APWS had 20 heads of state and government and ministerial level participants from 15 countries.
Total number of all participants was approximately 700.
The Summit achieved a huge success and the Yangon Declaration: The Pathway Forward was adopted by acclamation.
